Espadrilles – 100 shoes in 100 days

Day 24

Another rather blah post today turquoise wedge-open-toe espadrilles. Cheap and cheerful.

I’m getting over splitting headache and Kandimaa jr. #2 has been in for tonsillectomy this morning. Thanks to miracle advancement in medicine we are home two hours after the surgery and L is recovering with popsicle and Bugs Bunny.

His mother is battling through the day with a built up heap of work to be done.

For a normal person I have a lot of shoes. No. I mean I have a LOT of shoes. And yet I find myself using 5-10 pairs (yes I realise that 10 pairs is a lot in itself) of the same ballet flats, sensible pumps and boots day in and day out.

So I set myself a challenge. With the exception of some very heavy-duty winter boots. I will use all the shoes in my closet by the 27th of July. Precisely 100 days for my roughly 100 pairs of shoes. Every day must be documented and any shoe that has not been worn by then will be given to charity.
